Make Flash/PHP app embed as widget and pass/return variables

We require a developer to assist with fixing/modifying/re-writing an object tag for our Flash application. The intention was for the object tag to be able to be used on other domains webpages calling an application on our domain. (There should be checking of the domain, which limits the domains this can be embedded in) The tag should pass 3 setup parameters. And pass on modified setup paramters to the final swf. The current solution calls a php on our domain (so we can check $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'] to limit access to approved sites) this creates a MySQL entry and passes back the address of the final swf + futher setup paramters (and the ID of the newly created DB record) to the Flash application. <param name="movie" value=[login to view URL]> <embed src=[login to view URL] .... getswf return mechanism= $u="[login to view URL]".$ssID."&projectID=".$CHECKEDprojectID."&presentationID=".$CHECKEDpresentationID."&clientUserID=".$CHECKEDclientUserID."&ssID=".$ssIDinc; header("location:$u"); **However** This works flawlessly in Mozilla and Chrome, but fails in InternetExplorer. The ?paramters are not been passed to the php in Explorer and the returned values are lost, the ? values are actuall passed direct the to swf. So the php never gets the ?values and cant pass back the ID of the new DB record... **You must know how to pass variables to a PHP an object tag and pass on addition values the flash file**. Note: We are using a php call to capture the correct domain the object tag is in via $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'] . If this is called from the swf (put the swf in the object tag) it return our domain not the domain where the object tag is. If this can be fixed we happy to change out approach. You will not have access to our servers to upload code (only via us) We can provide a part working FLA (Flash8) and simple MySQL DB / 2 initial php's ## Deliverables The client inserts the simple embed code in their CMS/HTML The clients site passes 3 setup paramters to our swf The swf is on our server NOT theirs If the client domain isnt on our list an alternative swf is display(no access) The swf goes on to call PHP's on OUR(same) server to [login to view URL] data The swf loads resources (FLV progressive + RTMP FLV) from our server (FLV playback ect not part of this project)
