My website is imagocine(dot)com I am looking to make a brand new website. more professional looking one. there are a couple of musts..... the website must load up fast. my current one is good with that. the videos must load up fast. my current one is good with that as well. my current website as best as i know is all flash. it was bult around a template we bought from the net. i dont care if my new website is flash or a combination of flash, html ccs, or whatever. there are a couple of more musts....... i must be able to load my footage onto my portfolio. you will have to teach me how. i am computer savvy and i know how to edit FCP and to convert files to whatever format that may be required including flv. i must be able to change information from time to time on my resume that i want in one of the sections on the website. probably in the FILMOGRAPHY section. as for the new website. I have some ideas below. the number of pages? i am not very technical here, but how many pages is my current website? if i can get say --- there is one MAIN PAGE. which opens up when people click on my website then there is a about us. within the about us page we have say a main about us page. then a SECTION saying -- MORE ABOUT US. and a section with - - OUR CLIENTS. ( This will be a list of clients. I Should be able to Update this page on my own as well) Then a second page -- WHAT WE DO & FILMOGRAPHY. in this page --- the main page -- WHAT WE DO a section --- FILMOGRAPHY. ( Filmography will have my resume in a word or a pdf or other format. can it be done? can i update this from time to time?) a third page saying -- PORTFOLIO OR WHAT WE HAVE DONE. in this page -- a main page and all the videos to be shown in this page. a fourth page saying EQUIPMENT , WORK FLOWS, COPYRIGHT ISSUES ETC. in this page -- a main page saying ---- equipment --- work flows --- copyright issues etc. and when one clicks on each of the above, it opens up the information. and a fifth page saying THE COST. when this page opens up it should show COST -- FACTORS THAT AFFECT BUDGET. and whan one clicks on each of the above the relevant information opens up. and the last page saying THE PROCESS & CONTACT. again when the page opens we have THE PROCESS --- CONTACT. when one clicks on each of the above , it opens up the information. Please give me suggestions also as to what would be more user friendly. So now you know what our work flow is in general. I will need your input as to how to make this very user friendly. thanks and please let me know. Upinder.....
