Sir,
I make Flash MP3 Players for a specific internet program called Jamroom. I won't go into allot of detail but the flash players I make are used as music players on a Jamroom webpage and also as a popup window music player that can be kept open while the user serfs the website. The link to the popup player is right above the embedded flash player on this page. <[login to view URL]>
The problem I'm having is with the popup player.............
Internet Explorer only seems to allow two connections to a server at one [login to view URL] someone opens the popup player and starts to play a song but then closes the popup window before the song finished loading in the player, and then repeats the process. The flash player and the popup window will stop functioning properly after the second shut down. This is due to the connections to the server not being stopped with the popup shut down. This problem only seems to happen in Internet Explorer and doesn't seem to affect Fire Fox or other browsers.
The solution to my problem seems to be refreshing the popup window before it is shut [login to view URL] you follow the procedure above but this time refresh the popup window before shutting it down. The flash player will reset and the popup window and player will function normally no matter how many times the player window is open and closed.
The Request.........
Is there any Java code that can be made to.......
1. Know when a popup is being closed by the "X" shut down button on a popup window.
2. Pause that shut down and refresh the popup window itself.
3. Then allow the popup to shut down after refresh.
