I have 2 tab-delimited text files of data that I need converted into an ajax-style web page report. this is the first step in a multi-phased project for a "client dashboard" I'm developing so if we work well/quickly together there's more to come.
first, we need to develop a table that consists of campaign tracker ID's and an associated description. the table needs to be editable via the web (very simple database for this; perhaps even writing it to a text file in a folder is sufficient instead of going the MySQL route).
next we have to take that table of information and cross-reference it with a tab-delimited file of those campaign tracker ID's and the number of clicks they produced in a given month (that's the first of two tab-delimited files). the file also includes the number of transactions recorded for each campaign. a page needs to be built that parses all of that info into a table, and ALSO calculates the conversion rate as a percentage (that isn't provided in the tabbed file).
the second tabbed file has more detailed data regarding the conversion figure from above; this data needs to be parsed for each campaign tracker ID. when you click on the tracker ID in the report page it will expand beneath to show this table. the conversion file has some "decoding" involved to place each conversion in the appropriate category; very easy to understand.
lastly, inside this expanded table needs to be a drop-down field that allows us to filter the data in the table according to the first character in the transaction code.
the only other requirement is that I can use this script on a second set of tabbed files housed in a second folder later on (these are monthly reports, so I want to be able to archive).
Dear Sir/Madam, I'm in San Francisco and I'm experienced in Javascript/Ajax/PHP/MySQL. I'll be able to finish your project in 1 day. Look forward to working with you! Have a nice Memorial weekend!
