I’m looking to have a WYSIWYG done using JavaScript and Dojo (See [login to view URL]). The interface should look similar to Macromedia Flash MX interface just for the timeline and a Canvas (See attachment.). The user will click on an item such as text or image on the toolbar (See attachment) and select a region where that particular item (image or text) should be placed. See below of the steps and events that would occur. 1. The user clicks on the text or image widget located on the toolbar. 2. Selects a region where the item (text or image) should be rendered. 3. In the timeline above, a new layer should appear. 4. The user can select how long to wait before rendering the item and how long should is display before another text/image should be rendered. When the user hits save, the JavaScript should generate an XML string and invoke a method function save(string). Also this Editor should be able to take in an XML string (The same format that it’ll create) and reestablish the editors state. All of the x, y, height, width, text, image src, duration, etc. information will be contained in the XML file. Notes: 1. This Editor will create XML and load the editors stated based on an XML string. 2. The developer won’t have to talk to the server or do any server logic. This is pure JavaScript. 3. The scrollbar on the bottom and right of the timeline should scroll the regions and layer names as done in flash. 4. Must be OO in design. 5. Must use Dojo
