Objective: We buy domains at auction. We want to automate the process of placing bids. In order to do this, we will need to create and maintain an updatable list of available domain names, set a bid price for those names we want to bid on in a user interface, and automatically submit our bid via our user account a specified time before the end of the bidding period. We have a more complete brief that we will provide to shortlisted programmers. Specification: The system should be built to be hosted on one of our Linux servers so that it can be password protected. The appointed programmer will need to be able to demonstrate that they have an understanding of how to communicate with a website via a script. They will need to be able to provide evidence of their experience in doing this. We want a programmer with experience in writing an application for automated form submission. App will be written in PHP and probably CURL. User Interface and Application will be hosted on a Linux server. Programmer will need to be able to create a MySQL database.
