Linux Hardware Benchmark

I need a hardware benchmark tool, script or application, for linux (Ubuntu 12.04) with full source code. I do not want any GUI, just a console application. If the solution is a script, I would prefer PHP. If the solution is an application, I would prefer Java. In your quote, please specify what programming language you will use. I want to run this script on many different servers and be able to compare them and see by what percentage one is better than another one based on one given parameter. The parameters to monitor are: CPU, RAM (read + write + var block size + random access), Disks (read + write + var block size + random access), Network, and enumerate all computer hardware info: type, details, status (working properly, defective, other). For the HDD, I need all the SMART data + detect any probable defects, and all the partitions info for each disk. For the CPU, I need to know if there are specific instruction sets supported (ex: for virtualization). The output must be in a text file, with key=value, one per line.
