161702 Almond Free edition install

I need some assistance installing Almond Classifieds Free Edition. I may install the paid version in the future if the free one works well for me. I use Microsoft FrontPage to upload files to my website. I already setup the MySQL database and username and password. I'm having issues with this statement from the readme file, "Set up permission 777 for your new classifieds directory and permission 755 for files [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] by chmod command via ftp client." I have no idea how to do this. I either need detailed, easy to follow instructions or I just need someone to do it for me. I have basic HTML knowledge and can setup MySQL databases in my webhost admin panel. Thanks in advance.
