We see many requests for faked traffic generators and we want to be able to spot that sort of traffic when purchasing traffic for our sites. We therefore require a script that will spot "faked" traffic. We should be able to setup different campaigns with campaign name, campaign creation date, tracking URL and redirection URL (meaning that we can receive the traffic into any campaign tracking URL and redirect it to it's desired URL). Any campaign must log all hits and all possible referrer information’s in MySQL. After a campaign is over we must be able to run a test on the traffic received to a particular campaign to spot any possible faked traffic. Also we want to see total hits, 30 days IP unique and 24 hour IP unique traffic and from what Country or Countries the traffic came from. You are expected to guide us with suggestion to the content of the test but things such as comparing IP# with known proxy IP# is essential. Also we would like to see some of the hits taken out of the redirection and used to serve a html test page with a client side JavaScript’s that would be used to test if the page was being loaded in a browser (JavaScript enabled) in such a way that the JavaScript would make a call to our server for verification. The success rate of these client side JavaScript’s test calls should be in the report as well. You probably have other suggestions too. The result must be presented in a html report form. The script must have a way of deleting campaigns (including all hits for that campaign in MySQL). We do not want to keep data in the DB that we are not going to use. A decent user interface must be made. We will consider PERL or PHP and expect that you will explain why one instead of the other should be used. Thanks.
