Looking for someone who has knowledge of the Learning Management System called Moodle ([login to view URL]) and can make custom PHP scripts to work with this learning management system. Moodle is written in PHP and uses MySQL.
I have several projects in the future but for this project, two are listed below (please provide a price for both):
1. I have several Flash quizzes (already made) that now save data to a MySQL database. I would like to save the results to the Moodle (LMS) database since Moodle can track student progress as students complete the quizzes. Also, once students login to Moodle, I want to pass the login variables on to the quiz page so students do not have to login again.
I think to get a good understanding of how the Moodle MySQL quiz tables are set up, you need to download and install Moodle at moodle.org. It is a very simple browser-based install.
2. The second project is to integrate the MySQL user/password tables of Movable Type ([login to view URL]) with Moodle. Both Movable Type and Moodle use MySQL to store user login data but the variable names are different for each of these applications. I imagine there is fairly simple way to share user information between separate applications that both use MySQL without changing all of the variable names in the scripts.
I think that learning a bit about Moodle is worth the time since it is probably the most widely used open-source Learning Management System out there. Also, there are many institutions interested in modifying it for their own needs. I am interested in finding someone who is willing to learn a little about Moodle to complete more projects in the future.
Looking forward to working with you.
