Search Database Template Design

Hello, I am looking to design a Database template where in users can search based upon certain Filters, and can also schedule events based upon time/ date/ topics. I would like to bould the same templates, for my site. which is an educational site. please take a look at this site before you [login to view URL] is what i would like to model it afer, you will need to down load the software, it is safe. and easy to uninstall. thanks
