Hello, Please read the project deliverables below.
## Deliverables
Hello,
We have a list of 10,500 urls to mms media files that we need a .asx file created for each one and uploaded to our server. The list of urls are arranged in the following format…
Artist Name|Song Title|mms://[login to view URL]
Artist Name|Song Title|mms://[login to view URL]
Artist Name|Song Title|mms://[login to view URL]
You would need to take the url from each line of code and create a .asx file with it using the proper format such as…
Next, you need to save the new .asx file (which should only be 1K in size), and name it with a random string of characters such as [login to view URL] and then upload it to a folder on our server that we will specify.
Finally you will need to create a new text file using the exact same format as listed above however in the url section, you will need to reference the new .asx file that you created. For example
Artist Name|Song Title|[login to view URL]
Artist Name|Song Title|[login to view URL]
Artist Name|Song Title|[login to view URL]
So the finished product would be 10,500 .asx files residing on our server, and a text file that is in the exact same format as the origonal text file but instead of the mms file being listed, the correct .asx file will be listed, just like the example above.
It is HIGHLY recommended that you create a script that can run on our server such as a Php script where I can imput the list of 10,500+ codes, the script would then parse the list for the urls, then create .asx files from each url using random file names, and save the file on the server, finally it would reference the new asx file into a new text file that would be in the same format as the imput text file was.
Finished Product Will Contain…
10,500+ .asx files residing on our server with random filenames
A text file with 10,500+ lines of code just like the example below…
Britney Spears|Holiday Days|[login to view URL]
Jessica Simpson|Now I’m Stronger|[login to view URL]
Xzibit|Super Days|[login to view URL]
