I need a front end to a SQL DB. The DB contains 1 billion records with some stored procedures. I have users that are running these manual and I want to append some info to the returned results.
Users search by username or IP address and may bound the query by date ranges. What outputs is a list containing a date/timestamp (datetime), username, unique identifier, source, ipaddress and success/fail flag.
What I need as input is the ability to enter a username or IP and date range (probably want the range to be a set of options set to last 30 days, last 90 days, last year or ALL). I want the data displayed with success/fail showing as the classic windows red x or the green checkmark, and I want to append GEOIP data to the IP address, this will be City, State, Country along with ISP and Organization. I am using maxmind and have the DBs. The max mind IPs must be used were possible for speed.
There should be an ability to swich the view to a summary where the last 3 blocks of data are shown, with a summary below that showing the data by count sorted by date (last seen on top).
I'd like the connection string in a config file.
It's pretty straigght forward, I can provide more info on the interface and will provide the GEOIP databases, along with some sample data for testing (you can use it to create a local test db) and the format for the stored procedures.
