Web Designer / Developer (PHP / WordPress / JavaScript) Location: Wollongong CBD Salary: $20-38 hour depending on skills / experience Hours: 20-38 hours a week The Agency Think Design Company is Wollongong's market-leading digital agency, providing full-service marketing solutions for businesses of all sizes across web, brand development, email marketing, digital and social media marketing. Job Description: We are seeking a technically gifted web designer / developer proficient in HTML5/CSS3/JS/PHP5/MYSQL who also has proven experience in SEM, analytics and online marketing. A strong sense of design and UX is required. This individual must be a 'people person' and possess a strong desire to produce the highest quality work. Duties will include PHP development for custom online applications, CMS, and eCommerce applications, SEM Marketing / Management and more. Eligible candidates MUST: Have a solid understanding of web-based application development and deployment Have exceptional communication, organisation and interpersonal skills Have the ability to work well within a team environment and under pressure of deadlines Have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Have exceptional problem-solving skills Be self-motivated to expand their skill-sets A sound understanding of UI and UX is a bonus Have a sense of humour Have attention to detail Skills Required: Demonstrated experience translating Photoshop designs into clean, production-ready code Extensive knowledge of PHP/MySQL in your typical LAMP stack Extensive knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 Extensive knowledge of jQuery/JavaScript/Ajax Demonstrated experience developing for WordPress Experience with front-end frameworks (Responsive Bootstrap) Adobe Suite Proficiency a MUST (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator) Bonus: Experience with other content management systems Experience with CSS preprocessors such as Sass or LESS Experience with social APIs, specifically Facebook Experience setting up and working with Git
