Major Web Development Contract… We are a progressive Australian web development company looking to have a major web application developed in a short time period. The exact nature of the project is at this stage confidential, but experience with the development of a major portal/CMS is an absolute necessity. We require a devoted team of developers who are looking for the challenge of working on what we consider to be a “best of breed system??. When bidding for this job, please provide at a minimum the following information: • Company and company contact details, including the important details ie Time Zone • How many hours per week you could devote to the project. We anticipate up to 4-6 full time developers. • A resume of jobs relevant to the aforementioned portal/CMS criteria, including any custom modules that you have written for a portal/CMS • Please quote on per single developer per hour basis. We are intending that the site will be developed in an ASP.NET (Framework 2.0) environment using N-Tier Architecture and an SQL Server 2000/2005 back end. We require familiarity with the following additional web technologies/concepts: • RSS • AJAX • CSS • SEO • XML • Web 2.0 • W3C Compliance • Ecommerce and online secure credit card processing Additionally we are considering a dual or slightly staggered development with an Open Source environment such as PHP or Rails. Foremost in your mind should be: • Quality design process • Usability • Performance • Security We will be requiring: • A daily email describing the number of hours spent on the project, and what tasks were carried out in those hours • FTP access to all files relevant to the project. We believe this to be a three month contract. We look forward to receiving your tenders for this project. This is envisioned as a SIGNIFICANT piece of work. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows Server 2003, MS SQL 2000/2005, ASP.NET 2.0, plus possibly an Open Source environment
