phpmyadmin empty cache and removing auctions from watch list

Hello all. I need the following done in phpmyadmin. 1) Empty the cache three times a day automatically every day because the file becomes huge within a matter of days and i have to empty the cache almost daily. 2) Delete items watched that had ended 6 days ago. Once daily. 3) Delete messages that are related to auctions that ended 3 months ago. Once weekly. I believe cron jobs? can handle this but i dont have any knowledge of cron jobs.
