Wordpress plugin programming

Wordpress Plugin: Purpose: development of a plugin that assists with the management of a voucher system. Name of plugin: Voucher Campaign Manager Admin can: • Set up a voucher campaign • Use a short code to add to pages or posts that will parse a single field form which supports the insertion of a voucher code. • Submitting code checks the database to see if the voucher code is valid. If the code is valid then then the user is redirected to a page that is set in voucher campaign setting for this campaign. If the voucher code is not valid then the user is redirected to another page, post set in the campaign settings for this campaign. • If a voucher is valid and used then that particular voucher code is designated as used (no longer valid) and can not be used again • Each campaign can have more than one voucher code assigned to it (multiple voucher codes – ie. Multiple passwords!). • Each campaign can have a campaign start date, a campaign end date and an unlimited campaign – set till all the voucher codes used from a campaign are used. • Statistics for voucher’s used is available in the admin area; name of campaign, voucher code used, url where user came from prior to reaching the voucher code submission page, • If possible, a separate function that allows for the creation of voucher codes: set the number of codes needed, field where the codes can be copied (and then added to a particular campaign). • With the creation of codes it would be good if a prefix can be set and automatically added to the beginning of each code that is generated. Perhaps setting the number of digits for the generated codes would be good. Other ideas are welcome.
