I am getting closer to what I actually need to settle on as a prototype design. My previous enclosure, rendering was using an off-the-shelf 3D enclosure.
This time, I would like to get as close to "real" as possible, ie, showing the printed circuit board, LCD display, battery, and inductive charger as "fly-aways" so they can show the construction of the device.
>I would like to have something styled that looks cool, yet can still be plastic molded and able to hand-off to a tooling maker in a 3D file. I should be able to 3D print the 2 outside shells, put them together and have an actual enclosure with screws, etc.
> it is a basic device, small (50mmx69mm) box with 2 ODU-style circular connectors on the top/side. 1 is 14 pin and 1 is 12 pin of the "0" size type
> Device needs to accommodate 2.8" LCD.
> Device will need to include enough room on the sides of the LCD for one membrane switch and a [login to view URL] overlay (will overlay the LCD?) (will this impede cap touch?)
>device needs to accommodate largest LiIon battery that will fit (not larger than LCD).
So I need 3D image of the device, with the individual components inside (I may have to mick-up printed circuit board.) I am currently working on a new mp4 file that can play on the device.
So I need a newer. cooler version of the attached image with actual size, 3D objects for battery, LCD, etc.
