I am very proficient in c and c++. I have 16 years c++ developing experience now, and have worked for more than 6 years. I am moderately familiar with the Burrows-Wheeler transform, and I have PLENTY of C programming experience (dating back to 1996, and continuing to this day), so I think I can do it fairly easily.
