Need a Python expert with strong knowledge of Internet protocols such as CONNECT & TELNET to improve a proxy checker script

Looking for a Python expert to make some improvements on a proxy checker script algorithm for better success rates. The script is running on a Centos server 7. The script checks some open proxies and marks them valid or invalid based on the following criteria: 1. Whether the proxy is fully accessible ( requires no authentication and able to accept requests) 2. Whether a specific port is accessible via the proxy using TELNET and CONNECT protocols So far these algorithms are already implemented but its not not reliable and there are too many false positives. So I need someone to improve it and reduce the false positives.
