Small Modifications Required in a Python Program/Script

Task Description I have a small python based program that converts the Devanagari script into IPA script based on some rules. This tool currently runs through a GuI which is badly shaped and takes only word as input which is too bad. What is wanted? We want that the program should be able to take a list of words and generate the output on command line. If the GuI is also redone in a better way, it would be good. But this is only a desirable feature. We have a list of words that need conversion and doing them one by one is too much of a task. The application currently shows its output on the shoddy UI and also writes it on a XML file. For the input file, we want the output file, preferably in XML. (UTF encoded). What would be provided: The python program ( a single .py script file which is currently working as described above (on Python 2.7). An input file in text format containing a list of 100 words in Devanagari that need to be converted using the command line. This would be your test file. Both of these files would be provided only to the selected bidder.
