Write a linux .sh script

Hello, I am in need of a shell script to backup specified folders to a specific location and be able to exclude some but not all subfolders. stored files should be [login to view URL] files. upon backing up the script should remove any previous backups found in the backup location that are older than a specified amount of time. the date of backup should be in the filename and should be used to determine which to remove. Ubuntu 15.04 machine, File structure example: Folder A: - SubFolder A - File A - File B - File C - File D - SubFolder B - File A - File B - File C - File D - SubFolder C - SubFolder A - File A - File B - File A - File B - File C - File D - File A - File B - File C - File D Script config example: StoreLocation = /home/backups/mainbackups/ #Where backups are stored to BackupFolder = /home/servers/Folder A/ #The Main folder to backup SubFolders = "/home/servers/Folder A/Folder B/", #A subfolder to backup when BackupSubFolders = false otherwise ignore this. "/home/servers/Folder A/Folder C/" #A subfolder to backup when BackupSubFolders = false otherwise ignore this. BackupSubFolders = false #Should all subFolders be backed up?
