I'm looking for a 3D modeler to interpret existing photos of engagement and wedding rings and other jewelry (earrings, pendants, bracelets) and model them as finished product, not for manufacturing. The models you create will be used by myself to render. Again, models need to look like finished product, not product designed for manufacturing. This means models should not have elongated prongs and no hard edges or perfectly flat surfaces.
Candidate needs extensive knowledge with modeling in 3D Studio Max, quad poly modeling, use proper real world milimeter units/scale while modeling, and understand ring sizes, carat weights and gem sizes.
Only candidates with samples of work showing their models with and without wireframe/edges showing will be considered.
We have only a few items to start with (3-4 items) however this could turn into on ongoing relationship if the work and candidate fit what I am looking for.
As long as your picture or sketch conveys the general design we can take it from there. Your sketch can be simple but should include basic millimeter measurements Top and side views preferred if available. Your description should include ring size, stone shapes and sizes, shank style, width and height were applicable.
Describe other features of the design as desired with measurements in mm.
