Dear sir,
I am a native Tamil. I have written some 3,000 articles in English as a freelancer. I have authored five books in English.
I have been translating documents, fiction, school books, movie scripts (sans profanity) from Tamil to English and vice versa for some years. I am a certified translator with onehourtranslation.com. I am completely free at present and will be so in the foreseeable future. I can work with you for as long as you want me to.
I do not need dictionaries or grammar books in either Tamil or English while writing, translating or transcribing.
You may consider paying me at the rate of 1 cent per word in the source language in the beginning.
I hope you find this palatable enough to contact me.
Two short samples to show that the literal translation sounds phony and looks unstructured. What is desirable is to bring out the spirit of the sentence as a whole. I give below two short examples:
I don’t know how he manages to spend so much though he is not working. It is not as if his wife gives him any money.
அவன் வேலை எதுவும் செய்யாமலிருந்த போதிலும் எப்படி இவ்வளவு செலவு செய்கிறானோ! அவனுடைய மனைவி ஏதாவது பணம் கொடுப்பதாகவும் தெரியவில்லை.
It was only when he lifted his hand that I realized that he had a gun in his hand but that did not worry me.
அவன் கையைத் தூக்கியபோது தான் அவன் கையில் துப்பாக்கி இருப்பதை உணர்ந்தேன். ஆனால் நான் அதைப்பற்றிக் கவலைப்படவில்லை.
Thank you
