Design for a chat

CHECK MARK-UP INCLUDED! The project is called HYGGECHAT (translated: socialize chat / fun chat). The main goal for this project is to create a simple - but yet efficient chat. The chats code is already basic - but a great designer to create a relaxing design for the chat. It has to be a very simple yet detailed desing. There is 3 pages but they all have to run with the same background without changing page. So we're out in some AJAX loading. The keywords for this project is 100% DETAILS and SIMPLICITY! I want the user to feels amazed yet relaxed by watching this design - they'll be looking at it a few hours each day so it has to be something nice. If you visit the site [login to view URL] now there is some clouds in the bottom - i like clouds and i'm thinking that the background should be blue (like now) and with clouds attatched (like now) but with more clouds floating around the design. Clouds + hot air balloons floating around on the site (movable) using this plugin: [login to view URL] The code has to be in valid XHTML/CSS tested on iPhone, Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer and Safari. Page 1: Frontpage ----------------------- Create user: 5 fields: Gender (choosing using 2 images - something fancy), username, password, password(repeat), email - SUBMIT! Log in: 2 fields: Username, password - (text) Forgot password? - SUBMIT btn. Users online: A box with sliding images of the users online on the chat. ----------------------- Page 2: Chat ----------------------- Topbar: List of the joined rooms and the active private conversations. When something has changed it has to blink in a orange color. If you're watching the active tab/room it also stands out. (Goto room): Will give a popup where you can join a new room. (Logout): Sends user to frontpage. Chat area: (Username) Message When mouse over the message it will show the timestamp in the right corner (like facebook chat) When you click on a user the user will be highlighted in the userlist. Username changes color based on the gender of the chatter. User list: A small image followed by the username Clicking on the user: Opens a right-click menu box with the options: - Start private chat - Mute - Report Username changes color based on the gender of the chatter. ----------------------- Page 2: Chat ----------------------- Just a simple text site that can be used for contact forms etc.
