I have taken over a website build in PHP. It is dated and needs to be replaced, but we will get to that another time. Right now, I need help with this: The site has a calendar feature that allows users to enter information for an upcoming event and that information is put into a MySQL table. When it is created and inserted, there is an ID generated for each event. The generation of that ID happens somewhere in the code and I do not understand how it is being created. It is not a simple incremented number. I need someone to look at the code of the site and tell me how that ID is getting generated so that I can duplicate the process outside of the site.

Hi! I have 400 char encoded string. And I need to decode the string with a key. Key is 7 chars, no more, no less. Just A-Z (unknown). I imagine a successful approach would be to test different combinations of A-Z of a 7 char length, and check if the output is only containing ACSII "a-z", "A-Z", "0-9" (I don't think it will contain other symbols). So a "match" would be an output of ASCII chars of a-z-A-Z-0-9. So output would be the key, and the decoded string. The encoded string should be read from a txt file. Some sort of status. Maybe when pressing "s" in console, a status message with information. Pressing "q" quit.

However, the current version is broken: Some attachments are not extracted correctly and as far as I can see it has to do with multipart emails.
