Image recognition

To develop a robust and scalable image recogniton software system capable of scanning / indexing .jpg image files of for example a printed advert, poster. Image differentiators or recognition points may be colour / colour balances, lines and patterns in the image logged against reference points and any other means that will enable the system to run a comparison search of other indexed images in a database. System is to make a comparison of this image to photograph images taken by mobile phone cameras and sent to a server via MMS and to then produce a “recognition” result of the photographed image via an API which the EMP mobile content platform will use to generate a response to the user via SMS or streamed video.
