I'm an electronic engineer with more than 15 years of work experience. I work as HW designer; FW and SW developer. As HW designer, I work in Altium, KiCad and Orcad and I have experience in development single MCU (Microchip PIC, ARM Cortex, ESP32) boards with several digital I/O (GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C, PWM,....) and some analog I/O. I design complete board: power section, MCU section, peripheral section,.... I design also boards with battery power; so I have experience in low power PCB design. I have also experience in commercial boards (Arduino, Raspberry, Beaglebone,...) shields design. I have also experience in bluetooth (both 2.0 and 4.0) PCB design. As FW developer, usually I work in C for Eclipse + GNU ARM GCC for different ARM Cortex M0/M0+/M3/M4/M33 manufacturers (STM32Fx, NXP, EFM32/EFR32 SiLabs, Nordic nFR5x, but I'm ready to learn new frameworks). I have also good experience with ESP32 in "esp-idf" framework. I work with both single task (bare metal) and multi task environment (FreeRTOS, RTX,...). I write code for low level driver (GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C, PWM....) management, for medium level (driver for sensor, MEMS, memories, fuel gauge, display,...) and for high level/final application, for bootloader and for OTA. i have experienced with esp-idf v 4.1.i have done two project home automation using mesh protocol with aws iot. and second project is box control by app and some feature like ota, ble, nvs memory, gsm interaction with esp32. if your code related two this concept, please talk about your project. thank u

I have over 25 years of training and experience. I typically design the circuit, layout the boards, make the prototypes, and write the software. I have been working with the ESP32 about a year now. I do everything in C++ (which also includes C code by default). In my ESP32 work, I have specifically dealt with Wifi, BLE, I2C, Serial protocols and a list of ICs on the I2C bus which include: DS3231, DRV10987, LTC4151, TCA9548A and I am in process to work with 4 or 5 more in my current projects. I don't work with Arduino -- and never will. There is no reason to use an intermediate library and inject complexity in the middle of a project when you have something that doesn't work as expected. Arduino is for beginners. My projects use FreeRTOS as recommended by Espressif. I also have experience with the most common steps in working with AWS IOT communication. 4 thousand lines of code is not large. My current projects are about 5 times that size and occupy just over a megabyte in code space (larger due to Wifi and BLE libraries). You haven't really spoken of your problem here -- (your developer quit, your project is buggy, etc) so I don't know what problem you are trying to solve -- so it is difficult to know what to recommend.
