We are looking for someone skilled in C++ and DirectX to help us in converting our game client from DirectX 8 to DirectX 9 (Or higher if desired). Our source code is currently using Visual C++ 2008 Professional. There are some functions we are aware of that are either missing or take different parameters. Alternative solutions may be required. Absent: IDirect3DDevice8::DeleteStateBlock IDirect3DDevice8::CaptureStateBlock IDirect3DDevice8::ApplyStateBlock Different parameters: IDirect3DDevice8::SetGammaRamp IDirect3DDevice8::SetVertexShader There may be more that we are unaware of. Sample files have been included for viewing. Extra: We may require extra work in the future. It would benefit us both if you have any or all of the skills below. I am very proficient in c, c++. I have 15 years c++ developing experience now, and I have worked for 5 years. After going over the source code attached, I have opened GTH form VS2010. Used the "Conversion Wizard" to convert it. zlib and netlib will be added manually. Bottom line: Can do the work, and understand your needs. Usually work with Visual Studio 2010. I am an expert in such conversions.
