Hello, I am writing in the hope that you see my response and, as a honest freelancer, I want to advise that your budget is far too high for the scope of this project. Quite simply if you were to timestamp the machine ON time and timestamp the machine OFF times you would be able to calculate the difference between the two timestamps and have your answer. $250 is simply too high for a task like this. Hello, I have created a similar project to this where we are monitoring wax injection press. Its temperature, part count, timer, pressure and injection real time. In that machine we are monitoring timer using Current sensor, and as you mentioned there is also a sensor which does essentially similar task in your system. I belive I can definitely complete this project within specified time. I can create this program work, as well as I will be able to setup a local open source server on your Pi to store all the data properly.
