Human resourcing using MATLAB

hi! I need a simple program in MATLAB, for my university project (Final year) where i get a name as an input and that name has to be searched in 8 different excel files (departments) and it should display the details of that person (i.e office location, contact number) it should also give an output that should light up the LED for that particular department that the person is in. I have 8 different excel files each for a department in my college. the first column contains the first and last name of the staff in that department; the second column contains their full name the third column contains his/her office number; fourth column contains his/her contact number. and if the person is not to be found in any department, then a different LED should light up indicating that the person is not found. the program should give out digital outputs for the LEDs which will go through a USB connected Digital to Analog converter (DAC) which will produce the voltage to light up the LED we have 5 different departments and the staff of each department is in a seperate excel file. there are a total of 7 bulidings where the staff offices are so we must have 8 LEDs, 7 for each building and one for 'error' the 5 departments are: 1. Electrical & electronics 2. Civil & architecture 3. Mechanical 4. Chemical 5. Dean and the 7 buildings are: 14, 15, 27, 28, 31, 33 and 35 Its not necessary that the whole department is in the same building i.e a chemical professor from one department(33) might have an office in some other building(15) etc. the program should ask the user to input a name (to search for the staff) and once the user inputs the name (first and last name) then the program should search each excel file to match the name to that of the database. If the name matches, the program should display rest of the details of the person from the excel file. Also it should send an output '1' for the corresponding building where the person's office is to the digital to analog converter which will drive the mosfet and light up the led for that particular building. If the name is not found in any of the department's list, the program should display an error message and the érror LED should light up in the same way. I need the Program ASAP and I am willing to pay a reasonable price for it Please consider that I am a student and this is for my project Thank you Owais Amoodi
