I'm currently on the lookout for an artist to bring my A4 landscape book's cover and inside two page spread to life. My needs are routine, simple, for the leather cover and interior spread. **Key Requirements:** - Develop a photo montage for the inside cover, drawing inspiration from a selection of photos I will provide. This should blend seamlessly into the book’s overall theme of a rural pictorial history. - Design artwork for an embossed leather cover plus title - Craft gilding design for the book's title and spine, ensuring it stands out and captures attention. **Ideal Skills and Experience:** - Proven experience in creating artwork for embossing is essential. Prior projects in this field will greatly influence the selection process. - A keen eye for detail, particularly in designing a double A4 montage that convey the theme of the history of a farming district in the book - experience in creating gilding art work for cover title and spine, simple **What To Include in Your Application:** - Any previous projects involving pre printing photo montage design and/ or gilding, and embossing art work on similar materials. - An outline of your approach to the project, understanding that the focus is on the pre-printing art work only. Please note, this project does NOT include handling the printing process; the primary focus is on creating the necessary artwork to be handed off to a printer.
