We are setting up a staging Apache/Resin/Velocity environment, copying code from an existing working site, hosted by cwihosting.com. We're running into some configuration difficulties, and are looking for some help in getting it set up. We have most of the files from the current site (except a few shared files) so it should mostly be pretty straightforward. We've already installed Apache, Java, Resin, and MySQL. We are copying our classes from a working site, so Velocity and other necessary classes should also be correctly installed. Here are the tasks we want: 1. Set up name based virtual hosting correctly, to point into our subdirectory e.g. [login to view URL] returns /public_html/foo/[login to view URL] 2. Configure Resin/Velocity to return .vm pages correctly. Currently we are receiving a Java error. We believe this is a simple Resin conf error. 3. Confirm proper set up of the jdbc connector between Resin and MySQL. Because of the Java error (see point 2), we have currently skipped this step. 4. Setup MySql with MySQLAdmin to access data appropriately.
