Hello - My name is Christine Mark. I usually work as a secretary, but since a young age I have been using my voice in public speaking. Some years ago I wanted to work a voice artist but did not gain enough work for an Equity Actors card. The work I used to do involved reading a few audio books and for the Royal National Institute for the Blind and the Open University where I was studying for a degree. I got as far as contacting a Voice Artist Trainer in 2002-3 and making a demo (tapes). In 2003-4 I read poetry for a recording studio. In terms of speaking my voice is an agreeable contralto, fluent middle class English accented, with a slight Midlands accent. Speaking well and smoothly is very natural to me.
