A friend of mine has asked me to setup a community website for her. I would like to do it myself as a learning experience( At this stage in my life, I have very young family, so things are quite hectic) so need a pro's advice or a fixed setup cost to carry out the project.) The main requirement is that the website is very user friendly as far as logging in and setting up an account. User will have the facility to have part of their account viewable by their friends and family. I.E the diary. When setting up their account they will have the option to add friends or family, who will receive an e-mail with login details. An update e-mail will be sent to friends and family whenever user updates his or her diary. This site needs to be free to access, all country database, mysql. I would like this to be setup in 1 month. My client is prepared to pay 25%, then 75% on completion. Once traffic comes to site and there is further interest I will contact you for further work improving the site. I.E. Shopping Cart, Travel Agency,On-line games, Advertising, Pictures and Video.
