communicating flash by javascript/html

I hava flash movie([login to view URL]) which is loading external swfs in it. This movie is placed in an iframe(/products/[login to view URL]) which is inside the page index.aspx. When clicked to the html link 'Product Range' an actionscript must be triggered. This actionscript is the one which is on the red arrow button of the file [login to view URL](this file is one of the files being loaded externally to the [login to view URL]). Normally when user clicks this button, another external swf file is loaded to the main.swf. The thing I want is to do this from the html link aswell. While doing this you must not change the actionscript or the running logic of the movies. Ofcourse you can add your own actionscript if necessary. And keep in mind that these external movies are loaded in other pages of the website(the pages under the products folder) aswell, so you must not break anything while inserting your code.
