167865 Fix OSCommerce Contribution

This is a repost of a similar project that was cancelled due to the chosen programmer bailing on the job the day after it was awarded. PLEASE DO NOT BID BLINDLY ON THIS PROJECT!!! This should be a quick one for anyone proficient in OSCommerce (php/MySQL). THE JOB: Fix the bugs in the Get 1 Free contribution seen at [login to view URL],4990/category,all/search,free+product THE BUGS: Outlined in the support thread: [login to view URL] The main bugs from the forum that I am concerned about are: 1. When the main product is removed from the cart, the freebie remains but with a price associated. When main product is removed, free product should also be removed. 2. Multiplier does not work. If you define in admin: buy 1 of product X and get 2 of product Y free, only 1 of product Y shows up as the free product. 3. When changing quantities in the shopping cart, free products are not calculated correctly. For example, if you set in admin buy 5 of product X and get one product X free, then go to the store and add 5 product X to cart, then go to shopping cart: 5 product X show up with the correct price and one free product X shows up at $0.00. If you then change the main product quantity to 6, then the free product disappears and only one product X at the correct price remains in the cart. Or sometimes it will add one free product PLUS one more at the regular price. 4. Associate attributes with free products. I currently cannot set buy 2 Product X with Option A, get one free Product X with Option A. You should also be aware that I have installed the latest SPPC module as well as other contributions, so instructions for changes need to be given as line-by-line module updates rather than complete files/new install. DEVELOPMENT AND TESTING: To be done on the programmer's server and NOT on the live site. FINAL DELIVERABLE EXPECTED: NEW/REVISED [login to view URL] file from the Get 1 Free contribution. PAYMENT: Will be in escrow and delivered only when working module is shown by programmer.
