joomla pagination / joomla db query

I am using a Joomla module (AdsManager) which is pretty close to what I want. I needed to make a few changes and created an html form that's set the way I want. It submits a php script and returns and displays my results, no problem. The code for both of these are embedded into Joomla articles. The problem is I can't get the pagination to work on the results page. It works if I upload the page and run it as a separate PHP page, but it doesn't work when the code is embedded into an article. I have found several examples of pagination in Joomla, but they all add ?page# after the url which it assumes is index.php. The actual URL is more like [login to view URL];view=article&id=73&Itemid=76. When I append ?page# to that I get an error message 403 forbidden access. I've also tried JPagination but for the life of me can't figure it out. So, what I need is someone to write the code that will take the search results I've sent from my form and query the database. Then return those results, limiting it to 15 results per page and putting the prev/next/page # buttons on the bottom. I think it will need the JPagination class. I also want the DisplayLimitBox that allows the user to change how many results per page. I need the code commented well enough that I will be able to add additional fields to display in the search results if necessary. I would also like to have it done this weekend. How much and what would you need from me? Thanks!
