I will soon launch my own micro ISV. The Product I developed is called Snip-It Pro, and it is used to allow individuals or teams to store, organize and use snippets. The product is currently in beta , and I am working primarily on the website right now. I plan on launching sometime in February. One of the many cool features is the ability to export and import snippet libraries using the tool. I would like to offer users free libraries of Snippets to encourage them to try and purchase the product. That's where you come in. I am looking for Snippets of all kinds. HTML, JavaScript, php, asp, PERL, Ruby, Python, you name it. ## Deliverables The snippets need to be useful and non-trivial. To me, an example of a trivial snippet might be the bold HTML tag "<b></b>." A good snippet might be a JavaScript validation routine for different types of inputs, or a regular expression for validating an email address. The snippets can not include any proprietary or copyrighted information. You can include comments that credit yourself with each snippet and add a url to your web site in the snippet notes/source field that my product shows. When I post the library on my site, I will give full credit to you. When you bid, indicate what categories of snippets you can provide and how many snippets will be in each library. Give me a general idea of what the snippets will do. I will be accepting bid's from multiple people, and my focus will be on quality. I expect you to actually use the product to organize the snippets and export them into a library file. That is the final deliverable. The product is in beta, so let me know if you have any problems. I am however willing to provide a free license to any bid that I accept. Even if I don't accept your bid, I am planning to setup an area on my site where users can share snippets and libraries. You can sign up for my beta notification list here: <[login to view URL]> 1) Complete and fully-functional snippet library that can be used with Snip-It Pro. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform I expect you to use the Snip-It Pro to organize the snippets and export them into a library file. That is the deliverable. Snip-It Pro runs in Windows on top of .Net 2.0
