The Darwinator is a web-based system that enables people to run tournaments. Tournaments are business processes that identify a set of winners from a large set of contestants. Examples are (a) idea tournaments (b) corporate recruiting processes. Our existing web-site is [[login to view URL]][1]. For our new site, we have a set of five representative pages that outline the visual design of the site. We require the development of cascading style sheets to implement this visual design. The site's design is not complete yet - there will be roughly 30 page formats - so we require CSS files that are appropriately modular and well coded to allow for future modification and adjustments as the site expands.
## Deliverables
We presently have a drupal based system that manages the information obtained from these various pages. The task at hand is the creation of the cascading style sheets for each of the pages outlined in the word files. The style sheet should be consistent with font types, colors, and design language that is illustrated in the five screenshots that are provided as jpg files (see attachments). We do understand that this specification is somewhat loose and seek a quote that allows for one iteration on the pages.
Although we are only specifically concerned with the CSS files to implement the visual design, we are open to an expansion of the work to include CSS files and page templates if you believe that this will give better results and maintainability. In particular, we do not currently have CSS id's to give you to identify page elements, so you can either provide us with a clear map of ids to/from page elements, or implement page templates which we can fill. Our current backend is PHP/MySQL/Drupal and we would need to arrange an iterative collaborative process if you prefer to add page templates.
