Build a batching system with proxy support in PHP

What I understand from the job description is this: 1. Create an event handler for an event (button or link clicked, something else) 2. The event handler will execute batched ajax call to the PHP file X times And some questions: 1. How do I know how many times the PHP file needs to be executed? 2. What data needs to be passed to that PHP file and where to get the data? 3. Our job doesn't include the PHP file to create account right?
