Design of Usable Interfaces

You are to design and fully document an interface for a prototype system of your choice (ex. database), using specific design tools and techniques of design (notes to be given later on), and to evaluate critically both the interface produced and the design and evaluation techniques used. The documentation must be showing how you arrived at your interface in relation to accepted HCI knowledge, principles and techniques, rather than the interface itself. Assessment criteria: 1. You are to identify characteristics of the users and their tasks, modelling these using suitable tools.
