Create Local SMTP Server

I am looking for a way to make my VB6 project act like an SMTP server. This way, the program can set up an SMTP server on the local machine, connect to it (itself), and send email without the need for external servers. Please note: I already have a feature that looks up the MX records on a DNS server (ex: [login to view URL] --> [login to view URL]), and thats not what I'm looking for. I really want my program to send email DIRECTLY to another email address, only using the SMTP server that it creates. I'm not sure if this is possibly, but I'm am willing to hear any suggestions anyone may have. ## Deliverables This program is being written in VB6, and I would prefer to get ALL source code, no dependencies.
