We want to make a software able to use an Arduino 2560 mega with ethernet shield. We will setup and control 2-6 power generators (or battery packs). We must be able to turn off and on anyone of the 2-6 gensets and control their operation and fuel consumption. We will operate the gensets according to a weekly time plan which we will be able to change anytime. The application will also control 2 cameras and we must be able to Access it and control the gensets from anywhere with a tablet via Internet. The application will communicate with the administrator and the manufacturer for any malfunction, for fueling, and for daily report. It will measure the output and will calculate fuel consumption.
The Software will have 3 main procedures
1) Manufacturer. We will setup all the gensets and make data entry of the service needs (hours of use and service description) of each genset
2) Administrator. We will preprogram the weekly time plan and set email addresses where the software will communicate and time of communication.
3) User. We will monitor the 2-6 gensets while they work. Anytime some gensets will work and some other will not work.
We will monitor the fuel consumption, the power output and temperature of oil in some cases.

We will do some work for you and we will provide you
1) the screens for the GUI you will need but you could change them if you decide to be more ergonomic.
2) the flow charts of all the 3 procedures of the program or the screen and what every option does (in order for you to make the source of each button and window of the screen.
3) Detailed informations about the hardware (relays and power relays, digital fuel pump, amp meters and digital thermometers) and source code showing how you will read their values.

Beaglebone Black would be suitable for your project, but it seems you already built the hardware with arduino and ethernet shield, this is also fine but it's performance is not industrial grade!!
