In Washington, DC -- from a specific address, return name and walking distance to the closest subway (underground ) stop

Hi, I am a Google Maps and Places API expert. There's a type in the API which is subway_station: [login to view URL] So I can basically create a query which is the address (bldg /house no, block, street, city, state, or any combination) and will return the nearest station. We can do this right away!

I'll need geolocation coordinates (latitude and longitude) of all underground stops, I'll create program using google API.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am a Geographic Information System (GIS) developer and Python programmer, with experience of working with the Google Maps APIs, and existing API keys and code I can repurpose for this task, from numerous past freelance projects. I propose developing a Python script that will query the Google Geocoding and Directions APIs for your addresses and destinations, which can find the shortest walking distance subway to each address, exporting the address, nearest subway, and walk time/distance results to a csv file or Excel spreadsheet. I employ multiple API keys and threading, to submit a number of queries simultaneously, significantly speeding up the time needed to obtain results, although given the number of addresses to geocode and the routing queries needed, this will take some time to run (probably around a week), which I will do on a server.
