Job Description We are seeking a WordPress Developer or a team of developers who are responsible for both back-end and front-end development. Contact us with your website examples, your experience, your team setup and any other information. Our business, Glassfull Media mainly work on small to medium wordpress websites for our clients, creating new websites, and updating current websites. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on). The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with the responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred. It is an advantage to have experience in DNS management, Plesk management, website transfers, backing up websites, and email management. Responsibilities Designing and implementing new WordPress websites. Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS Using pre-created wordpress themes multiple times, becoming efficient and skillful on a smaller number of wordpress themes. Manage client support tickets, communicate with best practice and implement simple & correct wordpress updates Skills and Qualifications Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery Experience designing and developing responsive design websites DNS management, Plesk management. Email configuration and management. Comfortable working with debugging wordpress / dns / email / plesk Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers Strong understanding of PHP back-end development Communication through video chat - Google Hangouts / Zoom / Sykpe Creation of video support tickets Use of Trello project management tool Responsible for projects and updates, happy to take ownership of tasks and issues that occur
