Create a Apache Jmeter jmx file for testing Rest based APIs

I want to create a jmx file that can be loaded within Apache Jmeter project. This fill need to test 3 Rest Based APIs. These are APIs allow users to login, view and edit their accounts. The APIs are using cookies for sessions, so the jmx file will probably also need to use HTTP Cookie Manager plugin/extension. The other part of this project entails taking input parameters from a file. The input file needs to contain 100 different usernames and passwords that would be tested against the server. This will allow to have enough randomization and truly test the system rather than using the same username and password to generate tests.
