Improve the attached python program so that it will work reliably as a daemon with adequate logging. It is an interface between the Mosquitto MQTT broker and a USB serial interface (/dev/ttyUSBn). An install script needs to be written that will install the program as a daemon and set up logging. The install script needs to detect the appropriate init system to use for the various distributions. To help us know that you are not a robotic bidder please reference the commonly used linux init systems in your bid.

Hello, If you need Unix-like daemon (as service: start, stop, restart, status) you might use pydaemon so you don't have to worry about the environment. Also, you might want to use argparser since you'd like this to be more verbose - writing daemon script and Python script might be difficult to handle. Having it all in a single file is a good idea.
