Modify and prep a Sketchup 3d model for printing at Shapeways.com

We currently have a rough 3d model made in Sketchup of a toy robot. We need the Sketchup model to be "hollowed out" leaving structurally sound model, that must be converted to a format acceptable at [login to view URL] for printing, with the meshes made "water-tight" Some adjustments will need to be made to the model to build in an "access panel" to allow access to the interior. Both the sketchup model and photographs of the existing physical prototype will be made available to help you with this task. Deliverables: A corrected, adjusted, and "hollowed" sketchup model. A model format (presumably STL) that is acceptable to [login to view URL] for printing. (model must have water-tight meshes and be accepted by shapeways system.) A successful print run from [login to view URL] must be approved. (Atomocom will purchase the print run.) A possible round of minor model changes following the shapeways print run. (no additional features, just test and correct fitting for parts, etc.)
