Web Application To Build Custom Matrix

We are in the start-up phase to develop a web application, not a web site. A working prototype (non-web version) exists for much of the functional parts of the application. We have a need for individuals who show creative, clean design in the User Interface; write clean documented code; and can work to deadlines. Your ability to communicate in English will be important as many of the concepts will be complex and online meetings will be required to fully communicate them. In order to get a feel for your abilities we would like to see how you address a single component that would be consistent with the overall application development. We are expecting enterprise caliber web application development skills. For the task currently being bid we need a SQL Server Database components with web access. This “application” will create a user defined matrix (User defines the number of rows and columns) and then allows the user to enter the individual values in the matrix. The settings indicating the Row & Column definition as well as all the matrix values will be stored in SQL Server and can be selected to redisplay the populated Matrix to allow a user to edit and re-save.
